Minoma Littlehawk-Sills Program

Saturday, November 16, 2019

Minoma Littlehawk-Sills is well known throughout the region for her informative and entertaining programs. She will be presenting her program, "We Remain." She is a direct descendant of ancestors present at the massacre at Sand Creek, the Washita and Little Bighorn and is well known throughout the region for her informative and entertaining programs. "We Remain" will focus on Cheyenne culture and the struggles and perseverance of her forebears through more than a century of forced assimilation, disease and broken treaties. The program is being sponsored, in part, through a grant by Oklahoma Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
