This fantastic holiday light display can be viewed nightly and concludes on New Year's Eve. With wonderful sponsors and donations merrily accepted from visitors, Christmas in the Park is a holiday tradition. Free activities every Friday & Saturday 6-9 pm, Nov 29th-Dec 21st. Tour the park on the Mistletoe Express Double Decker bus, Visit Santa, Candycane Express Miniature train rides, ride the Centennial Carousel, Holly Jolly Trolley rides and Cub scouts serving hot chocolate and popcorn.

The Compass Athletics Winter Classic is a Large School Basketball Tournament and Fund Raiser for the Woodward High School Basketball Program. Schools participating are Enid, Guthrie, Mustang Boys, OKC Storm, Lawton Ike Girls, Altus, Perryton, Guymon, and Woodward. All proceeds from this tournament go to Woodward Basketball. A great opportunity to visit Woodward and wrap up your Christmas Shopping at area Merchants, eat a Wonderful Meal at our local Restaurants, and watch some Excellent Basketball. Be sure to look in the Tournament Program for the Special Sales our Merchants will be holding during the Tournament. Hosted by Compass Athletics and Woodward Tourism

It's that time of year again, The annual Cowboy Christmas and Open House! Free admission! We set up an action-packed, fun day for people of all ages. Here's the schedule so far: 10-11 - Santa Claus makes his appearance 11-12 - Dr. Deena Fisher will make a presentation about Christmas Traditions. Gift bags will be handed out after the presentation. 11-12 - Patrick the Storyteller will offer stories for the children. 12-1:30 - Chuckwagon lunch of stew, cornbread and cobbler. 2 - Clothespin Angel Craft with Karen DeWitt. 2-4 - Assorted games and activities for kids and adults.
