  2. Annual Dixie Waddle Memorial Gingerbread Contest

    November 22, 2021 - December 4, 2021

    Plains Indians & Pioneers Museum

    Entries are being accepted until Saturday, December 4th. Judging will take place December 7th and the houses will be on display until January 8th. There are two categories: Adult, age 16 & up and Children, ages 8-15. Cash prizes will be awarded. All work must be original, no gingerbread house kits. Entry packets are available for download on the museum's website or can be picked up at the museum.

  3. Old Fashioned Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting

    Main Street (Parade) & City Hall (Tree Lighting)

    If you would like to participate in the lighted Christmas Parade this year, please message me for more info on how you can have a float. Entry Fee for floats is a toy donation The floats will be judged this year with the judging taking place at 5PM and line-up being at 5:30. Parade starts at 6pm. So be thinking of what an old fashioned Christmas means to you. Maybe it is a snowball fight, or making Gingerbread houses, decorating a Christmas tree or singing Christmas carols... and then get your creativity going. We look forward to seeing everyone!
